Worked as a Sr. Engineer with the PMA Project Controls Consultant team. Helped project team implement Primavera P6 in their Delivery Projects & Construction group.  Was responsible for supporting Project Managers with their scheduling and project status report (PSR) needs. Took lead in building/ maintaining project schedules by collecting data from stake holders including engineering, procurement, permitting, and station and line construction groups. Additionally worked with the team to implement processes through P6 to help optimum utilization of P6 across the company.

Role: Project Controls Specialist/ Scheduling Engineer

Worked as a Project Controls Specialist with the David Evans and Associates (DEA) team on the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) – Project Management Oversight (PMO) contract. Assisted the DEA PMO team with the oversight of scheduling, estimating, and cost control on Metro Transit Administration’s (MTA) $530 M South Ferry Terminal Station, and $1.4 B Fulton Street Terminal Station projects; and on New York State Department of Transportation’s (NYSDOT) $311 M Route 9A North Promenade Project.

Key responsibilities included: review/ track Critical Path Method (CPM) contractor schedules and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), submit reports to FTA on MTA and NYSDOT and their contractor schedules, review cost estimates, track costs – expenditures vs. Estimate(s) At Completion, track contract change orders against the contract contingencies, provide document control support – track & log documents between FTA, MTA/NYSDOT, and PMO.

Participated in the PMO risk assessment of the projects. Compiled Risk Registers for projects; Identified Probability, Low, Expected, and High values of the risks occurring. Built Schedule Risk Model. Reviewed and Re-evaluated the Risk Model Results. Finalized Top Schedule & Cost Risks, and Risk Result Graphs.

Role:  Project Controls Specialist

Worked with the Project Controls team at Puget Sound Energy (PSE) in Bellevue, WA. Supported PSE in implementing Primavera P5/ P6 across the organization to help successfully deliver capital projects and programs, whose fiscal year budgets ranged from $300 million to $500 million. Supported project managers, assisted them with scheduling, resource planning and management. Assisted engineering group with planning and managing their resources for all capital projects/ programs. Worked with the major equipment group to help them deliver major equipment for the projects Just-In-Time on site. At the enterprise level, worked as a bridge between various departments including project management, engineering, major equipment and construction, to facilitate utilization of information in P6 to manage their resource requirements for optimum resource utilization.

Researched green buildings/ sustainable construction.
